Bank Banking Mobile Companion software is now available for all Android smartphone

Bank Companion, a global provider of mobile banking software for banks, community banks and credit unions all over the world, today announced the integration with Android smartphones for its industry-leading mobile banking software platform.
A report from Gartner shows that Androidâ? s Global Mobile market share rose to 25.5% and is thus in the number two behind Appleâ? s OS. The report covers the 20.5 million Android phones in the 3rd Quarter of 2010 alone sold note. A year ago this figure was only 1.5 million. The Android operating system is also ready to capture 15% of the Tablet PC market in 2011, according to IMS Research. IMS reported that at least 15 different vendors currently planning Android-based tablets for sale next year, including heavyweights such as Cisco, Dell, Motorola, Samsung, Acer, Viewsonic and open peak. The company also projects Android continuously tablet market share of more than 28% growth to end 2015.
