MONTAIN SABLE LODGE.
Matambwe just outside the park headquarters on the western border of the reserve located. The camp is spread over a hillside with excellent views of the mountains Uluguru. The next camp to the TAZARA railway makes this the best option when traveling to Selous by train.
AccommodationThe original stock consisted of 8 spacious stone houses full en suite and all with great views from the veranda Uluguru Mountains.
Then, 2 tented bandas raised on stilts and overlooking the Ulugurus bit away from the houses have been added. These are spacious with large bathrooms and verandas. Finally2 luxury honeymoon tented bandas raised on stilts were built on the other side of the Main Street hill overlooking a valley and the Beho Beho Hills. AccommodationThere are eleven
mostly tents on wooden platforms built in mosquito & insect proof, with en-suite bathroom and a veranda. Nine of the tents overlooking the Rufiji. One looks at a dry water hole on the back of the camp.
FACILITIESThe restaurant and bar is situated under a palm thatched roof, leaving a mahogany tree overlooking the Rufiji. There is also an additional sunset bar and cavort A resident troop of black and white colobus monkeys in the bar area.

HIGH BUDGERT LODGING
Beho Beho Camp
Located in the Western Region of the Selous on the levels and views of Lake Tagalala, this is NOT one of the few camps in the Rufiji River. But the view and procession of the animal world does not make this a problem.
Accommodationrecently renovated after years of neglect of the 8 stone houses are very spacious and well decorated to the point of excess. The huts are open to and have their own telescopes for game viewing in comfortable chairs in the cabin.
The open-air showers are excellent in local stone and wood, and the general feeling that Beho Beho is different from other camps, this is more like a small house than a room to sleep makes built in.FACILITIES
The huge central dining area and bar is along the lines of an old hunting cabin furnished with a full size pool, complete with deep leather armchairs and Persian carpets. Meals from the main table, be taken of the multiple posts lookouts in the main building or under the stars.
A small pool near the main building and a water hole attracts animals all day. The Sportsgame drives, professionally guided walking safaris and boat safaris on Lake Tagalala. The walking safaris in this region especially recommended.
