you have decided to take a safari and without hesitation I would advise the Serengeti in northern Tanzania Safari A safari through the vast plains of the Serengeti to witness the last great. walk on the earth is an unforgettable experience. The whole safari on the vast Serengeti is a package with an abundance of animals compete anywhere else in Africa. It is with majestic landscapes and the fascinating tribes you meet tightened. It is’ll find here you that you are in Africa proper.
The great migration safari in Serenegeti is followed hundreds of thousands of wildebeest in a never-ending cycle of movement, followed closely by the predators looking for an easy meal. The wildebeest follow the rains and migration is thus as unpredictable as it is raining. It is the last great migration on our planet, and as such it is a must to experience a safari first-hand of this great event to take.
Many companies try to predict the fate of safari animals. The success of this depends essentially on three things. a. The rain is on time. b. The rains lasting long enough to influence to move the animal. c. The experience of the company organized migration safaris in the Serengeti. The problem with these predictions is that in recent years, the rain on time, or they do not have, so some safari-makers with the customer in the wrong lodges in the wrong area of the Serengeti. [As the migration across the border and for a short period of migration in Kenya] Recently, many people on safari in Kenya witnessed the failure of long rains and remained with the failure of most animals in the northern Serengeti, so that many people the safari lodges not only in the wrong but in the wrong country!
How to solve this problem involves a little work on your side, in researching your topic and booking your safari holidays with care. Below are a few simple steps as a guideline.
1. If you want your safari from late July to late September / October, then it is necessary to book well in advance. This time of year is so busy that most of the lodges are full.
2. Have you heard of overcrowding in the Serenegeti? If so, chances are the safari took place between the crowded summer months, and probably the Safari was the Seronera Valley in the central Serengeti. This area of the Serengeti has a good, reliable concentration of animals with a year-round water supply. Many safari companies [especially the very cheap Safaris] are lazy and send their customers in this part of the Serengeti only. This provides less mileage, higher profits and satisfied customers because of the abundance of animals. Ensure that your safari includes two areas of the Serengeti. You should be in the south or the north of the huge park, depending on the season and where the walk heads.
3. If you have the luxury of booking, when tourists are few in Tanzania, then tried to leave the actual booking of the safari until a few weeks before your departure. If it is low season from March to late June, then the safaris are bargain prices [that the accommodation and to a lesser extent transport]. Keep checking according to the whereabouts of the migration and then book your accommodation through a quality provider. Safari operators should reasonably be able to book luxury accommodation directly – it’s like the safari operators to make their profit
.
4. Unfortunately, the easiest way to a successful migration safari in the Serengeti is the most expensive. Book a luxury safari in a semi-permanent luxury tented lodge. They are semi-permanent, as they move several times a year, as the migration moves. These are almost guaranteed first-hand with the great migration.
[Do not leave the tent somewhat daunting. There are huge tents with double beds and furniture and even a private bathroom. Some rooms have private butler for each tent. They are small and have an intimate relationship with the store environment.]
How is it possible to keep a check on the whereabouts of the migration is easier said than done. There are many websites that have regular updates on some claims but I checked recently, almost two years past their expiration date. I would suggest to stay in contact with two or three of the small boutique tour operators in Tanzania – they have cars with drivers returning from the Serengeti every week and so know the movements of animals. You will not mind, you can continue good, what happens to [hopefully] Learn booked a safari.
Take your time and your safari plan carefully as the planning is part of the adventure. Take the time to do a little research and make sure that your ground operator in Tanzania is ready to make your safari special. Many of the safari operators are [more sad] only the easy money and the customer’s wishes are not relevant to them care. Beware of such companies as they are in the luxury segment as well as the budget end of the spectrum. Tanzania and the Serengeti are amazing. Make sure that with careful planning of your safari experience an exciting and memorable.
