The problem with these predictions is that in recent years, the rain on time, or they do not have, so some safari-makers with the customer in the wrong lodges in the wrong area of the Serengeti. [As the migration across the border and for a short period of migration in Kenya] Recently, many people on safari in Kenya witnessed the failure of long rains and remained with the failure of most animals in the northern Serengeti, so that many people the safari lodges not only in the wrong but in the wrong country!
How to solve this problem involves a little work on your side, in researching your topic and booking your safari holidays with care. Below are a few simple steps as a guideline.

2. Have you heard of overcrowding in the Serenegeti? If so, chances are the safari took place between the crowded summer months, and probably the Safari was the Seronera Valley in the central Serengeti. This area of the Serengeti has a good, reliable concentration of animals with a year-round water supply. Many safari companies [especially the very cheap Safaris] are lazy and send their customers in this part of the Serengeti only. This provides less mileage, higher profits and satisfied customers because of the abundance of animals. Ensure that your safari includes two areas of the Serengeti. You should be in the south or the north of the huge park, depending on the season and where the walk heads.
3. If you have the luxury of booking, when tourists are few in Tanzania, then tried to leave the actual booking of the safari until a few weeks before your departure. If it is low season from March to late June, then the safaris are bargain prices [that the accommodation and to a lesser extent transport]. Keep checking according to the whereabouts of the migration and then book your accommodation through a quality provider. [Do not leave the tent somewhat daunting. There are huge tents with double beds and furniture and even a private bathroom. Some rooms have private butler for each tent. They are small and have an intimate relationship with the store environment.]
How is it possible to keep a check on the whereabouts of the migration is easier said than done. There are many websites that have regular updates on some claims but I checked recently, almost two years past their expiration date. I would suggest to stay in contact with two or three of the small boutique tour operators in Tanzania – they have cars with drivers returning from the Serengeti every week and so know the movements of animals. Take your time and your safari plan carefully as the planning is part of the adventure.
